The Jesmonite Plant Pot Workshop with Objectify in Barton Upon Humber
About
A three-hour beginner-friendly workshop where participants cast and colour their own Jesmonite plant pot using terrazzo, marbling and other techniques.
Run by Gaby from Objectify, this three-hour session teaches participants to make a Jesmonite plant pot (12cm high, 15cm wide, 10cm deep) using terrazzo, marbling, block colour and drip techniques. Attendees first practise on smaller moulds to learn how the material works before casting their pot. All materials are provided, group size is capped at 12, and because Jesmonite sets quickly, finished pots can be taken home the same day. Jesmonite kits will also be available to purchase for those wanting to continue at home.
