Saturday Workshop: Wax Sculpture

Explore Rachel Kneebone’s porcelain sculpture before developing drawings into small wax sculptures with sculptor Sarah Tombs.

This one-day workshop begins in the galleries with close looking and sketching from works in Metamorphoses: Porcelain Sculpture by Rachel Kneebone. Participants then use fine modelling wax to develop drawings into sculptures and learn modelling and construction techniques. All materials are provided; open to all experience levels and ages 18+. The workshop takes place in the Learning Studio.
