Amy Matthews: Definitions of Toast

Amy Matthews performs her one-hour stand-up show, Definitions of Toast, exploring anger, queerness, and emotional lag.

Amy Matthews' solo comedy show explores her quest to feel anger, her first queer relationship in her 30s, and a processing lag she compares to emotions arriving by carrier pigeon. The performance also touches on her mother keeping milk in the car boot, a 2002 potion, and a pavement stand-off with a bird. The show, which runs for one hour with no interval, has seen her appear on ITVx, Comedy Central Live, and BAFTA-winning Scot Squad.
