A free viewing presents manuscripts, paintings, ceramics, metalwork, textiles, rugs and carpets from the Islamic world and Indian subcontinent.
The display spans artistic traditions from Spain and North Africa to India and Central Asia, including Persian, Anatolian and Caucasian weaving. Viewing closes at16:30 on9November and19:00 on11November; the12November auction is separate.
