Repair Café Godalming

Bring a household item to Borough Hall for repair by local volunteers, who can also show you how to tackle repairs. The café supports reuse and sustainability.

Godalming’s volunteer-led Repair Café helps people repair household items instead of replacing them. Repairs and refreshments are free to item owners, and donations are welcome. Arrive before noon for a better chance of a repair before the 12:30 close. Register one item at a time; if there is no queue, you may return with another item. Clothing must be clean; clothing alterations and zip replacements are not offered. Items involving solid, liquid or gaseous fuels, and the internal mechanisms of clocks and watches, cannot be accepted. Cracked phone and tablet screens cannot be repaired.
