Memorials to Sausage Politics

An exhibition of screenprinted works and sculpture examining monuments and civic decoration embedded in Edinburgh’s streets.

Jamie Fitzpatrick develops wall-based prints from research into Edinburgh statues and civic buildings, using screenprinting and bronze pigments to echo monument materials while challenging their authority. Sculptural works extend that image-making into the gallery. The exhibition is open 24 July–25 October 2026. It is free to enter during the gallery’s public hours.
