From Barnet with Love Festival

A free family festival day at RAF Museum London celebrating the From Barnet with Love project with art, storytelling, music and air mail history.

This free day of drop-in activities celebrates artist Emma Tominey's From Barnet with Love project, inspired by Barnet's connection to the 1911 Coronation Aerial Post. Visitors can join postcard printing with the artist, a talk on the Hendon site's role in the first Royal Mail by Air flight, interactive storytelling for younger visitors, Morse code and semaphore activities, live music from BEAT, calligraphy postcard writing, a family trail and stamp collecting. The day forms part of the Light + Flight Festival and runs alongside the From Barnet with Love exhibition.
