A new play follows Rena Depas, a young girl from Crete, in a story inspired by the Minotaur myth and the wartime history of Crete.
The production combines text, movement and shadow-play to tell Rena Depas’s search for peace after violence. The official synopsis locates the story in Crete in 1944 and draws on the Minotaur myth and the history of Crete’s Jewish community during the Second World War.
