The Often Herd

Bluegrass band The Often Herd performs, showcasing their vibrant, transatlantic sound shaped by the natural and industrial landscapes of Northern England.

The Often Herd is a bluegrass band whose vibrant, transatlantic sound is deeply coloured by the striking landscapes of Northern England. Since the release of their debut album ‘Where the Big Lamp Shines’ in 2022, the band has graced the stages of major UK festivals and made international appearances. Their latest singles blend bluegrass precision with West Coast harmonies, folk-pop hooks, and the addition of drums and keyboards. The band's second album is in production, and they have recently completed a US tour and are scheduled to perform in Scandinavia.
