Handel Messiah by Candlelight

St Martin’s Chamber Choir perform Part I of Handel’s Messiah by candlelight, with the Hallelujah Chorus and final Amen also included.

Olivia Tait conducts a programme centred on the oratorio’s account of prophecy and the birth of Christ, supplemented by two choruses from later in the work. The performance lasts one hour without an interval.
