Spring in the Air
About
A tapestry and mixed-fibre exhibition by Eta Ingham Lawrie, inspired by changing light and colour over land and sea.
Eta Ingham Lawrie works directly from small sketches on an upright tapestry loom, building a woven image with wool from local sheep, natural fibres, recycled threads and found objects. The exhibition page also links two separately scheduled freeform weaving workshops. The museum publishes ordinary hours of Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–16:00 and Sunday 11:00–16:00, and winter hours of Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–15:00 and Sunday 11:00–15:00 from 1 November to “Saturday 12 February”. As 12 February 2027 is a Friday, the hours transition boundary is unclear and no event-specific hours are asserted.
