A two-hour Friday afternoon return cruise with fish and chips served aboard John Varley II as it travels along the canal from Tapton Lock.
Fish and chips with mushy peas, tea and coffee are served aboard John Varley II on a return route through Wheeldon Mill Lock to Bluebank Woods. Gluten-free and vegetarian options can be requested at checkout. The boat has a wheelchair lift, but no toilet; facilities are available at the Visitor Centre. Dogs are not allowed on food-related trips. Passengers may help with locks or try steering subject to conditions and the skipper’s permission.
