Take a Seat - Conversations on My Mother's Bench

Dea Birkett’s outdoor listening project invites passers-by to hear and contribute stories linked to a memorial bench in Russell Square.

The installation places a QR code beside a bench dedicated to Margaret Birkett, where visitors can listen to stories shared by people who have sat there and add their own. The source locates it near the north-east corner of Russell Square Gardens by Caffè Tropea.
