About

A panel discussion with Ukrainian veterans and support-sector figures on veteran reintegration, marking the launch of a veterans-themed issue of the London Ukrainian Review.

The Ukrainian Institute London hosts a panel conversation on how Ukraine supports its veterans — now numbering over two million — as they return to civilian life while the war continues. Speakers include veterans Alina Sarnatska and Oleksandr Tereshchenko, Fierce Calm founder Lee Watson, Nova Ukraine CEO Erin E. McKee and Chatham House research fellow Jaroslava Barbieri, discussing rehabilitation, peer support, prosthetics and policy reform. The discussion, moderated by London Ukrainian Review editor Larissa Babij, is followed by a Q&A and marks the launch of the review's veterans issue, a copy of which every ticket holder receives. Alina Sarnatska joins remotely.
