About

Woolf Quartet plays Beethoven’s “Serioso”, Dobrinka Tabakova’s “The Smile of the Flamboyant Wings”, a new suite by violist Beatrice Slocumbe, and Mendelssohn’s A-minor quartet.

The current bill names Mutsuki Seki and Emily Harrison (violins), Beatrice Slocumbe (viola), and Hoda Jahanpour (cello). Slocumbe’s new work is titled “Assemblance: Suite for Quartet”. The programme pairs contemporary writing with Beethoven and Mendelssohn.
