About

A new World Rugby Museum exhibition tracing Australian rugby from 19th-century football codes through the Wallabies, Wallaroos and Australia Rugby Sevens.

The exhibition follows the development of rugby in Australia, including New South Wales in the years after the First World War, the 1939 tour, the rivalry with New Zealand and the Wallabies’ professional era. It also highlights pioneering Wallaroos and Australia’s Rugby Sevens teams through historic jerseys and match-day ephemera.
