Free exhibition/display; museum access and closure conditions apply.
About
Paul Sarrut’s drawings document everyday life among Indian, British and French soldiers on the Western Front.
Over 50 drawings and works on paper are shown alongside uniforms, photographs, archives and medals. Diary extracts from Jemadar Kirpal Singh are read in Punjabi by his grandson Dr Gurpreet Singh in an interactive display; this is recorded interpretation, not a live appearance. Paul Sarrut is the historical exhibiting artist. Floor 2 is accessible by the main lift. The recommended 30-minute visit is guidance, not a performance duration.
