About
Comedian and author Robin Ince launches his new book The Future of Jokes with a talk, poetry readings and discussion at Drop City Books.
Drop City Books hosts an author party celebrating the launch of Robin Ince's new book The Future of Jokes. Ince will talk about jokes past, present and future — drawing on science, technology, politics, philosophy and culture to explore why we need humour — and will read poems in his characteristically tangential style. Doors open at 6.30pm with the event starting at 7pm; the ticket does not include a copy of the book.
