Thetford Ghost Walk
About
A guided 90-minute evening walking tour of Thetford's haunted streets, alleys and ghostly legends, meeting behind the Thomas Paine statue.
This evening walking tour explores the darker side of Thetford, an ancient town with Saxon origins, tunnels beneath its north side and tales of murder, mystery, ghosts and legends. Participants meet in front of King's House on King Street, behind the Thomas Paine statue, at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start, and are guided through darkened streets and alleyways for approximately 90 minutes. The route is manageable by wheelchair users and suitable for the whole family, though stout shoes are recommended and there are no toilets on the route.
