About

A free guided afternoon walk at Halstead Hill Farm exploring the farm's history, wildlife and landscape with an agri-ecologist and a regenerative farmer.

This guided walk, led by agri-ecologist Professor Chris Stoate and regenerative farmer Dr Miriam Stoate, explores the natural and historical heritage of Halstead Hill Farm. Participants will learn how historical changes on the farm have affected wildlife and inform future land management, and discover traces of how ancestors worked and related to the landscape, with sweeping views across High Leicestershire. The walk covers at least 1km across fields and woodland on uneven terrain with inclines and is suitable for adults; no dogs are permitted.
