Mina Alikhani: Artist in Residence

Mina Alikhani develops a new body of paintings at Maddox Gallery’s Shepherd Market space, with visitors able to follow the work as it takes shape.

The residency begins with six existing paintings and gives audiences a view of the experiments and decisions behind a developing body of work. Alikhani’s practice draws on surreal and imagined landscapes, stylised natural forms and architectural spaces to examine social expectations and lived experience. The artist works privately in the gallery and asks visitors not to knock. The exhibition detail publishes access on Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 to 13:00; it does not state access hours for other weekdays.
