A Night of Two Acts (New Writing)

Two brand-new one-act comedies from the theatre's New Writing Scheme are staged in full by local performers in a single evening.

Following its New Writing Scheme, the theatre presents two winning one-act comedies as full productions with costumes, props and set, performed by local talent. 'The Good, The Bad and The Watsons' by Phil Butcher and Jenny Devaux follows Sandra and Colin navigating heaven's bureaucracy, while 'Eddie and the Angel' by Lesley Adair follows a redundant Eddie who starts hearing a talking goldfish. Directed by Philip Marshall Junior, with auditions held on 30 November 2026.
