Surrey Street Mural by Vic Lee

An 18-metre mural by South London artist Vic Lee marks the 750th anniversary of Surrey Street Market, drawing on stories, facts and memories from the market’s history.

Commissioned by Culture Croydon for the market anniversary, the mural brings together stories, facts and memories from Surrey Street Market’s history. The official listing dates the work from 11 September 2026 to 31 January 2027 and places it on Croydon High Street.
