Minty Sainsbury / Surfaces of Time
About
A solo exhibition by Minty Sainsbury exploring the time held in architecture and the act of drawing, across six series of works.
Surfaces of Time is Minty Sainsbury's sixth solo exhibition, presenting six series that explore how time is embodied in architecture and in the act of making. Weathered surfaces carry the marks of a building's history, while layers of graphite and worn pencils give physical form to time spent drawing. Sainsbury is a London-based artist and Cambridge architecture graduate whose work has appeared at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize. The exhibition runs Tuesday 1 to Saturday 5 December, open 11am–6pm daily (until 7pm on Wednesday 2 December).
