African Crafts Workshop

A free African crafts workshop led by Kwame of African Activities, celebrating UK Black History Month with bead making and Adinkra printing.

This free workshop, inspired by the production Once Upon a Time in Sokoto and celebrating UK Black History Month, offers two 45-minute sessions of recycled bead making and Adinkra printing. Led by Kwame Bakoji-Hume, founder of African Activities, it explores West African art and culture and requires no prior experience. It is open to all, with under-18s accompanied by an adult, and a matinee performance of Once Upon a Time in Sokoto (14+) follows, requiring a separate ticket.
