Watchtree Half Marathon 2026

A 17+ half marathon on quiet, undulating country lanes around Watchtree Nature Reserve, with marshals, water stations and a finisher's medal.

The Watchtree Half Marathon is the longest challenge in the reserve's 2026 running series, run on quiet, undulating country lanes with gentle inclines rather than steep climbs. The well-marshalled course includes water stations, and all finishers receive a medal; runners who completed the Watchtree 5K and 10K earlier in the year also earn a commemorative medal hanger. Headphones and dogs are not permitted for safety reasons, and entrants must be 17 or over. Families travelling with runners can enjoy the reserve's bikes, karts, nature walks, orienteering and café while the race is on.
