About
Cardiff/Bristol brass-house-soul band Year of the Dog bring their debut album launch tour to The Globe at Hay for an 8pm show.
Year of the Dog, a six-piece brass-house-soul band from Cardiff and Bristol, play The Globe at Hay as part of their 2026 debut album launch tour for Break Loose, recorded at Rockfield Studios and produced by Rob Cass. Best known as the Swing Band in Netflix's Sex Education, they perform heartwarming soul, dance rhythms and brass-fuelled melodies. The show starts at 8pm and follows their sold-out 2025 appearance at the venue.
