Itch: Spoken Word Night

A monthly inclusive spoken word night in the café bar, hosted by Ali Harwood, welcoming both performers and audience members.

Itch is Shakespeare North Playhouse's monthly spoken word night, held in the Bar & Kitchen and usually on the second Tuesday of the month. Hosted by poet Ali Harwood, it offers performance slots for newcomers and seasoned performers alike, while audiences are equally welcome whether they are spoken word fans or complete newcomers. Each session lasts around two and a half hours and is aimed at ages 16+ due to adult content.
