About

Families make a leafy lantern using natural materials and simple circuits during an autumn half-term workshop.

A four-hour family craft session combines materials gathered from the museum’s community garden with lantern-making and simple circuits. Children aged eight and over can build a light circuit; children aged five to seven have an alternative activity. The published timetable includes a nature walk, a packed-lunch break in the Clore Learning Room, and guided making time. Booking is essential and children must be accompanied.
