A community textile display shaped by stories and contributions from people connected to Portland.
More than 300 local people and others with ties to Portland contributed to this textile work. It draws on Dorset’s traditions of textile storytelling and the 1978 Portland embroideries. The project was commissioned by b-side and funded by Arts Council England; textile artists Antje Rook and Sarah Elizabeth facilitated contributions.
