Say Owt presents: Michael Rosen

Performance poet Michael Rosen reads a mixture of his poetry for adults and children at The Citadel, with support from York poet Cory Rich.

Say Owt hosts an evening with Michael Rosen, one of Britain's best-loved writers and performance poets, performing a mixture of his poetry that ranges from joyous humour to reflections on family, heritage and loss. Children are welcome, though the set is not specifically tailored for a young audience. Support comes from York poet Cory Rich, winner of the Say Owt slam in April 2026, whose work explores queerness, faith, community and hope. The event runs for 90 minutes with unreserved seating on two levels.
