30+ New Year’s Day Clubbing | Decades of Anthems

A daytime New Year's Day clubbing session for the over-30s at Salt Market Social, spinning anthems from the 70s to today.

Salt Market Social hosts its daytime New Year's Day clubbing event, a North Shields tradition marking the town's centuries-old New Year celebrations. The session runs from 2pm to 7pm and is aimed at the over-30s, with DJs playing hits across the decades — 70s disco, 80s synth-pop, 90s house, 00s party classics and current floor-fillers. The daytime setup includes a sound system, lights and glow-sticks, with a retro or glam dress code encouraged.
