After a hibernation experiment leaves Joe Bowers asleep for five centuries, he wakes in a future where his average intelligence makes him the smartest man alive.
Mike Judge’s comedy follows an average man selected for a military hibernation experiment. When the base is forgotten, Joe and Rita awaken in 2505 to a society whose intelligence has declined sharply. The Prince Charles Cinema lists this performance in its £1 Members Films and Anniversary Screenings 2026 programme.
