About

A free Brighton meetup on learning, tech and design featuring three lightning talks, a pizza break and an audience panel discussion.

The final Learning Futures Brighton meetup of 2026 brings together people working across learning, technology and design for an evening of lightning talks and conversation. John Helmer examines what learning science says about podcasts and audio-first learning, Stuart Chadwick argues for adaptability as a defining organisational capability, and Emily and James Maltby share the design journey behind Skills Tally, a human-centred EdTech tool. A pizza break follows the talks, after which the speakers take part in a panel discussion with the audience.
