Toria Wooff

Toria Wooff performs material from her second album, Aleister, a collection of brooding folk songs.

Toria Wooff performs songs from her second album, Aleister. This collection of eleven brooding folk songs is built on tape-saturated textures, drones, vintage keyboards, and rich acoustic instrumentation. Her live show, whether solo or with a close-knit band, pairs fingerpicked guitar, keys, and strings with a vocal that moves from hushed intimacy to sweeping intensity. The material draws on late-sixties and seventies British and Irish folk, gothic literature, northern landscapes, and mythology.
