About
A troupe recreates George Bailey’s story as a live 1940s radio broadcast in this stage adaptation of the Christmas film.
Jessica Lazar directs Anthony E. Palermo’s radio-on-stage adaptation of Frank Capra’s film, based on Philip Van Doren Stern’s The Greatest Gift. Six actors use multiple roles and theatrical sound to conjure Bedford Falls and Clarence’s attempt to help George Bailey see the value of his life. This is a theatre performance rather than a film screening.
