Dear Zoo

A stage adaptation of Rod Campbell's classic lift-the-flap book Dear Zoo, with puppets, music and audience interaction for young children.

Rod Campbell's best-selling children's book Dear Zoo comes to the stage as part of Harrogate Theatre's Little Stages series for children. The story follows characters who write to the zoo asking for a pet, with deliveries including a cheeky monkey, a jumpy frog and, eventually, the perfect puppy. The production uses child-engaging puppets, music and lots of audience interaction, and is recommended for ages 1+, with under-16s accompanied by an adult. There is no interval.
