Jazz Steps: Soft Machine

The veteran UK jazz-rock band Soft Machine perform at Bonington Theatre as part of the Jazz Steps series.

Soft Machine return to Bonington Theatre for a Jazz Steps gig, performing material spanning their six-decade career, including music from their latest numbered album 'Thirteen'. The current line-up features John Etheridge on guitar, Theo Travis on saxophones, flute and keyboards, Fred Thelonious Baker on bass and Asaf Sirkis on drums. The band's style ranges across progressive jazz-fusion, psychedelia, improvised jazz-rock and ambient loop music, and the theatre advises booking early as tickets are expected to sell quickly.
