Potters Wheel Taster Session

A two-hour beginner-friendly potters wheel taster session in Hartlepool where you throw pots and keep two glazed pieces.

Louise Robinson Ceramics runs this hands-on taster session for complete beginners wanting to try the potter's wheel. Participants are guided step-by-step through centring the clay, opening the form, pulling up the walls and shaping a pot, with time to make as many pieces as they like. At the end, each attendee chooses two favourite pots to be professionally glazed and fired for collection later. The session lasts two hours, is for ages 16+, and no experience is needed.
