Vocal Jazz Weekend Intensive with Terry Cade

A three-day vocal jazz workshop in Frome led by Toronto jazz vocalist Terry Cade, open to singers of all levels and ending with a live performance.

Toronto jazz vocalist and educator Terry Cade leads a three-day Vocal Jazz Weekend Intensive at the Cheese and Grain in Frome from 23 to 25 October. Sessions cover vocal technique, interpretation and phrasing, improvisation, musicianship and working with a live rhythm section, and each participant receives a one-to-one online coaching session beforehand. The weekend is aimed at singers of all levels, with a small class and limited enrolment, and culminates in a live performance at Bar Lotte on Sunday afternoon backed by a professional rhythm section.
