Spinsters And Sparkles

A jewellery-making craft evening at a London pub celebrating National Spinsters Day and reclaiming the word spinster.

In Our Era hosts a craft evening marking National Spinsters Day on 17th November, celebrating the historical independence of spinsters and reclaiming the word. Guests make bead jewellery — name bracelets and necklaces in a nod to 1990s crafts — in a social pub setting, with a food menu and cocktails available. The event runs three hours at The Marquis Cornwallis.
