The award-winning Paddington Trio performs Shostakovich, Mendelssohn and Schubert piano trios in the Celebrity Concert Series.

The Paddington Trio — Finnish violinist Tuulia Hero, Irish cellist Patrick Moriarty and American pianist Stephanie Tang — return to Barnstaple as part of the Celebrity Concert Series 2026/27. Their programme pairs Shostakovich's Piano Trio No. 1 in C minor and Mendelssohn's Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor with Schubert's monumental Piano Trio No. 2 in E-flat major, D. 929. Prize-winners at the Royal Over-Seas League Competition and the Parkhouse Award, the trio is praised for fresh interpretations of the classical canon alongside contemporary music.
