Fabulous Futures: Exploring Clothing Sustainability for a Fashionable Tomorrow

An interactive workshop exploring clothing sustainability through creative expression and the history of Bangladeshi textiles.

Participants will spend the session dreaming up an outfit that exemplifies their own idea of joyous expression, using writing and/or drawing to share their vision. Indigo Spice will share the histories of how Bangladeshi textile and clothing industries have changed over time, covering colonialism, classism, and global capitalism. This knowledge helps participants understand how sustainability can be reclaimed in the path towards a more equitable and fashionable future.
