About
A guided walking tour led by architectural historian Jon Wright exploring post-war and postmodern buildings across the City of London.
Open City's walking tour runs from Broadgate to Bank, tracing how 1960s modernism gave way to contextual 1970s architecture and then to hi-tech and postmodern styles in the 1980s and 90s. Buildings featured include Exchange House by SOM, Broadgate Circle by Arup Associates and Milton Gate by Sir Denys Lasdun & Partners. The tour lasts approximately 2.45 hours and ends at No 1 Poultry/Bank, examining how these buildings have fared and what the future holds for the City.
