Feast of Christmas Music

A festive concert of Puccini's Messa di Gloria, Tarney's The Night Before Christmas and carols with mulled wine and mince pies at Worksop College.

Worksop College's concert series opens the Christmas season with a festive performance in St Cuthbert's Chapel. The first half features Puccini's Messa di Gloria and Oliver Tarney's new cantata The Night Before Christmas, performed by the North Notts Chamber Choir, Worksop College Chapel Choir and Mountgarret Concert Orchestra under Timothy Uglow. The second half brings Christmas favourites and audience carols with full orchestra, and mulled wine and mince pies are served in the Great Hall during the interval. The event runs for 2 hours 15 minutes.
