About
Photographer Giovanni Bello launches Se murió Fidel, a photobook combining reportage and personal essay on the days after Fidel Castro’s death in 2016.
Photographed over nine days in Cuba, Se murió Fidel follows crowds mourning after Fidel Castro’s death, from Havana to the funeral procession in Santiago de Cuba. The trilingual Vento Leste edition pairs 66 colour photographs with an essay combining reportage, memoir and reflection.
