The Gathering Table 2026

A free All Hallows' Eve evening of storytelling, live music, conversation and shared food for women, celebrating the launch of the From The Cauldron anthology.

The Gathering Table 2026 is a collaboration between ByTheBook, Pen to Print and Carole Pluckrose, combining the launch of the From The Cauldron short story anthology with an evening of readings, storytelling, live music and shared food. Twenty-one winning writers from the From The Cauldron Women's Short Story Competition will be featured, with opportunities to meet them and buy copies of the anthology. Guests are invited to bring a dish to share if they wish, and the event is open to women aged 18 and over.
