About

A Christmas Tree Festival in Marden church displaying trees decorated by village organisations, families and individuals.

As part of the Marden at Christmas event, St Michael & All Angels church hosts a Christmas Tree Festival running from Saturday 5th to Sunday 13th December. Village organisations, families and individuals are invited to put up decorated trees, with battery-operated lights required; spaces can be reserved with the church office. On the opening Saturday, free soup and a roll is served in church for visitors wandering between the festival and other Marden at Christmas events. Trees go up on Friday 4th December between 2.00 and 4.00 pm and must be collected on Monday 14th December before 2.00 pm.
