Duke Street Community Centre (Senior Citizen’s Hall)

A community repair cafe where volunteers help fix household electricals, bikes, clothing, gadgets and toys, with tea, coffee and cakes.

Macclesfield Repair Cafe hosts a Restart Party where visitors bring broken or tired items — household electricals and electronics, bikes, clothing, gadgets and toys — and volunteers help diagnose and repair them. The aim is to reduce landfill waste while teaching people repair skills rather than offering a free repair service. Tea, coffee and cakes are available, and the group operates on a donate-what-you-feel basis.
