David Herd’s clay sculptures explore the human face and head through colour, texture and pit firing.

David Herd’s sculptural work reflects a long-standing interest in the human head and face. He makes the clay works with subtle colours and textures using the ancient technique of pit firing. The exhibition is in the Blanchminster Gallery.
